A Google Finding

Googling my name today I found the following linkage. Somewhat old photograph used of Pelton's Rose-Gentian, but really appreciated being covered. Here is the link.

Do you Google your name periodically? What do you find?

  1. Interesting. I 'Googled' my name just now and the #1 item that showed up was the link to my website. Yay! Then there was my connection on Facebook, followed by links to several other Margaret Blanks who are also on FB -- all in the US, from the looks of it. I don't think any are related to my husband's family, but who knows? I wonder what would happen if I look under my maiden name...?

  3. I love the Pelton's Rose Gentian art you have created. I live in Arkansas near the area where John Pelton first discovered this beautiful plant. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art.

  4. Thank you, I would love to see the actual plant. Mr. Pelton gave me permission to use his photo of the plant for inspiration. It is the only plant I have ever done without having a living specimen in front of me to work from. I have no idea of the size of the flower. Knowing other rose-gentians, I suspect that the flower is pretty small. Are you familiar with it? Would love to know more.

Thank you again for leaving such a gracious comment.
